Moldy-Oldies

The other day I went through my monstrous stack of old and not-so-old sketchbooks. It was crazy how so many of those sketches brought back such specific memories, and I couldn't help but feel a bit nostalgic while looking through them all. Here are few of them, in no particular order:

plein air painters in Central Park

Lombard Street--while I was sketching some guy told me
"nowadays they have these things called cameras..."

China Town -- Rachel got a weird drink there

Pier 39--it was chilly, a soccer game was on in a bar and we ate delicious fish

Carnegie Hall and my bus-ride to the Manhattan 8th ward

the stories behind these characters are pretty ridiculous...

gesture drawing, boredom during class and Henry's puffy coat

Perhaps, please could I borrow some of your talent?
Also, Lombard street never fails to remind me of the movie "What's Up Doc?" Have you seen? If not, let's fiz that. And by fiz I mean fix.

Ummm, that's actually one of my favorite movies! Let's watch it. Also, we'll do a swap. Some design skills for drawing skills. Deal?
